To reach Gatehouse from Carfax Tower, walk down Cornmarket Street (towards George St, Broad St and North Oxford); turn left into St Michael's Street (opposite St Michael's Church). Gatehouse is about 50 yards on the right hand side, opposite the Oxford Union. There is a clear sign on the door; Gatehouse is the first dark blue door you will come across on St. Michael's Street.
